Sweet Letter Press began in Brooklyn, NY when graphic designer Elizabeth Eastman and artist/illustrator Matthew Winheld decided to design their own wedding invitation. After several detailed prototypes, hundreds of dollars spent in hand-made paper, and many grueling August days of assembly, that first invitation was made and Sweet Letter Press was born.
Since moving to Boulder, Colorado in 2007, Sweet Letter Press has expanded into a full service design studio offering a wide range of letterpress products – invitations, business cards, stationery, greeting cards, product packaging and more. Our North Boulder studio is home to a 1893 Chandler & Price Old Style (stylishly painted red and black) and a Heidelberg Windmill from 1964.
