Our Story

We began SWEET letterpress & design in 2007 with a mission to help preserve thoughtful communication and have been making letterpress invitations, personal & business stationery, greeting & note cards and gifts ever since. Our paper goods are carefully crafted in Boulder, Colorado using only high quality, eco friendly materials.

Letterpress is a relief printing technique in which a raised plate is inked and pressed into paper for a tactile and beautiful result. Our products are printed on a hand-fed, 120 year old press; we feed every piece of paper through the press one at a time for each color applied. The care and craft of letterpress printing yield an unmatched quality that people never fail to notice.

Our Studio
Our North Boulder studio is home to a 1893 Chandler & Price Old Style (stylishly painted red and black) and a Heidelberg Windmill from 1956. Nestled just west of Broadway, we have great mountains views and ample viewing of the family of foxes living behind the shop. With concrete floors, high ceilings, lots of white paint, and, of course, antique presses, it's a great blend of industrial chunk and modern chic. We love it here and we hope you'll visit soon.
